Re: Poll: How Much Does PS5 Backwards Compatibility Matter to You?

The second poll does not have an appropriate answer for my opinions on it. I would probably buy the PS5 eventually, but maybe not at launch if it didn't have at least PS1 and PS2 BC. I've had to keep my PS2 hooked up for so much longer than I normally have old consoles because of how limited BC has been for so long. I would understand if PS3 is still too hard for them to do though.

If they have all generations, including some PSP and Vita support, then it would be a guaranteed day-1 purchase at up to $600. It would be SO nice to be able to take 4 separate consoles off my wall and replace them with a single one. Would be a great improvement for the layout of my systems. (I currently have 8 consoles on the wall, with 4 of them being Sony because they've been getting worse and worse about BC.)
