If both players are of a similar skill level, it doesn't matter what device they use.
The cheating is the main issue. However, cheaters are rife on PlayStation as well so it's not like disabling the cross play to PC will stop that.
The only system that goes cheater free is Xbox, I haven't seen a single hacker since the Xbox One launched over 12 years ago. Disabling cross play on Xbox means you're waiting 10+ minutes to get a match, but it's cheater free so 🤷 is it worth it?
@Vladspartan I've been a part of the Alpha and BETA stages of the game and I'll think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the challenge level it provides on some the courses and especially in PvP. It's easy to play but hard to master which many kid oriented games aren't. The Mass races will leave you on the end of your chair, with your heart racing especially when you're in 1st place because one single mistake and you've dropped 15 places. It's honestly a pretty fun experience.
Yes it's bit goofy but it's nicely refreshing to play games like this sometimes. I couldn't stop laughing at my man in giraffe suit flying the jet pack about.

The demo/trial will be free on all systems, and I'm not sure why the title says 4 hours when it's trial period is 7 days.
