@DreadfulDragon “I don’t know what I’m talking about” but in every From game, the controls are the same, the assets are samey, the bosses are samey. Every game follows the same loop of “travel to this dungeon and defeat this boss”. Literally the only new thing in Elden Ring is the addition of a mount. The gameplay in Elden Ring and Demon’s Souls is almost exactly identical.
And yet, for some reason, From disciples have somehow decided they’re more worthy than other studios because their games don’t have a difficulty setting and based on some nebulous idea that From are somehow “more passionate” and aren’t just another developer with executives and shareholders who demand profits.
@DreadfulDragon and yet, when FromSoft pump out the same indistinguishable production-line product for the tenth consecutive time, people like you line up to laud them.

@DreadfulDragon Literally every single From game looks and plays exactly the same as the last one. They just don’t sell as well as Ubi games
