If Tales of Xillia 2 receives a remaster, I would like it to allow you to switch characters in towns, a feature that was in nearly all of the Tales games that came before it. In addition, I'd like them to remove the elemental resistance system since it greatly restricts the combo capabilities of characters like Elize and Rowen. Sure, the game allows you to negate it by charge guarding, but it gets very tedious and annoying in fast-paced boss battles. You didn't have to worry about this in previous titles like Xillia 1, Vesperia, Abyss, and Symphonia which is why I liked them a lot better.
I would really love to see ground-up remakes of Tales of Symphonia (but with Free Run), Tales of the Abyss, and Tales of Innocence R. All three of these games had an amazing amount of content, great stories, and a ton of very fun playable characters. In addition, their battle systems are not too dated and can remain unchanged.
