I absolutely understand why companies choose to make some games exclusives. To promote your products, plain and simple.
What I truly fail to understand is why this is important to the gamers. Why is it SO crucial that users of other consoles dont't get to enjoy the same games you do?
This is what might get me to actually try the mode.
I stay away from live service stuff that goes on forever, with daily login requirements to not miss out. But knowing I can actually play, enjoy, and eventually complete... Excellent!
The only racing game in modern times I have actually been able to play, enjoy and master. Nothing like it in terms of gameplay. (Please correct me if you know of some I might have missed.) The only game I have TRIPLE 100%'ed
Another perfect example of polishing a nail instead of healing the broken finger.
Others may have better perception, but I experience 60 fps as smooth as it needs to be. I can't really detect when it goes beyont that. Gaming at 30fps at this point, however, is a stuttery mess which actually make me dizzy.
There is a ton of excellent PS4 games out there, and all they need is a 60fps boost. Fix that first!
This WILL be a remake. And it will be a great disappointment to every nostalgiaseeker out there.
There is absolutely no chance this won't be turned into a maximum exploitative live service microtransaction monster, aimed at an entirely different userbase than the ones screaming for a remaster in the first place.
I'd pre-order this for my pro. It baffles me that a company desperate for new revenue continues to actively exclude the userbase MOST willing to throw money at them.

Re: Mini Review: Tokyo Xtreme Racer (PS5) - Unapologetically Old School for Better and Worse
Is this a live service game? Heavy on the microtransactions? Grinding is mentioned, but thats often circumvented by throwing a lot of money at it.
Information on those aspects would be greatly appreciated in these articles.
