Oddly enough this was the first FF i have never finished. Which upset me because it was the first one i ever preordered the limited edition with the figure (i was super hyped up). I was so bored about 2/3rds through. I think it suffered from similar problems of XIII. It was too linear and the combat was too bland. Great action combat for an FF, but it was trying to be Tales or other action RPGS without having the depth.
Glad some people loved it. I really wanted to enjoy it, but everytime i booted it up it felt like i was forcing myself to enjoy it.
This isn't any more gruesome so far than Killing Floor or Mortal Kombat. Still excited though. Hellraiser movies (the firsf 4 anyways) were always great in my opinion.
