@naruball @nessisonett @lovespuds Really appreciate the comments. I don't need to hide my gaming or my spending from my wife and I play games just about the right amount for me – something I know for sure after this crazy project! It was completely unnecessary for me to buy and sell the PSVR in secret – it was just fun, part of the game. Tbh, I was looking forward to telling her what I'd done since before I did it! I was just pretending to be a child again and it turned out to be exhausting. I don't know how I used to play so much!
@Peach64 yeah PSVR is not suitable for a 2-y-o! Thanks for the tip. Good advice, I think. He did enjoy Mario Odyssey when he tried it at about 11 months. Didn't always look at the screen and mostly pressed the back of the controller but still enjoyed it. We should try that again.
@Liberty____1st same here. I have some games I've been playing literally for years (or over 12 months at least): Persona 4 on Vita and Daigyakuten Saiban on 3DS. "Finishing" Breath of the Wild took nearly a year, too. As you can see, I do make time for a bit of gaming, and people here who for some reason think I have to hide the expenditure from my wife (!) are missing the point. Glad some others can relate!
@naruball @Ackbar7 The point wasn't to keep it a secret, it was to pretend I had nothing better to do than sit around gaming – like when I was a kid. Pretending it had to be a secret was just for fun – the kind of fun my wife very well understands.
@SirRealDeal I've had so many recommendations of Astro Bot now! Just came a bit too late. Tbh, I'm pretty exhausted after it all! Looking forward to where VR tech and game design is in a few more years, though. No doubt PSVR is a success as a product.
@Jimmy_G_Buckets Funny what makes you sick and what doesn't. WipEout was no trouble for me but RE7 was very tough going until I'd played several short sessions.
@shafedog247 haha. Can't say I'm proud of myself! It's a sad state of affairs when I can't even be bothered to put a game in the drive. Surprised I'm not getting stick about The Last Of Us, though!
@BrutusJudas Thanks for reading! Yeah, I completely forgot that other people may not have played LG yet! I loved it so much and I really hope you play it and enjoy it. I ignored all press about it completely so was going in cold. Well worth it. I have since seen the trailers and found them a bit spoilery IMO.

@SirRealDeal Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I thought PSVR was pretty amazing really. I've used VR before but it works especially well in your living room. I do feel it's a bit expensive for what you get from it. Having said that, RE7, Rez and especially Superhot are experiences I will probably remember forever. No regrets!

@Frigate @get2sammyb I did hesitate on that but thought I'd leave it up to the editor. I think the context makes it clear what is meant but I appreciate the word has connotations nonetheless. Hope it didn't spoil anyone's enjoyment!
@GKO900 seems fair from the 15 mins I got. I got destroyed, but felt like I made progress every attempt. There is depth to the combat and room to win gracefully, not just by thumping at people. Looks good.

@Rrrob marriage can be better than playing computer games the whole time, if you could imagine that.

@Jaz007 it’s different but satisfying. If you’re looking forward to it then you won’t be disappointed.
