You mean the old PS3 feature that was also ported to PS4. The way you're wording it here suggests the PS4 was either your first console or you were obliviously out of the loop when it came to remote play for all the years it thrived on PS3. I used it more for PS3 than 4. It was closer in terms of graphics to your home console and the Vita was in stores.
@TheFrenchiestFry Hi. I remember during the PS4/Xbox One launch that MS upgraded their speed a hair at the last second to slightly narrow the gap in processing power. It is my firm belief that Sony are holding as many of their cards as close to their chest as possible while leading up to launch. The share functionality of the PlayStation 4 also led to a quick patch by Microsoft to do the same thing on their machine, although not as effectively. MS have a long history of copying everything from everyone and I could bore people with a million examples. It's not for no reason Sony are tight lipped.
While everyone is so busy talking about how this was expected, im still quite shocked that seemingly no one read any of the articles in the past about a patent Sony filed for cloud emulation for the earlier consoles on the PS5. I really with i could post a picture here taken directly from the patent showing the first 3 consoles. How is this not known by PushSquare??
