@Splat i mean they kinda need to ff16 flopped hard so this is one of their last gems in their arsenal and the ff14 expansion in the summmer so this game absolutely needs to sell 10-14 mil to shoot SE out of the hole they are in right now

@Kienda OW devs say they make close to 5 mill a day on microtransactions alone its why every company is doing it ; streamer, sponsors, youtubers, even tournament organizers buy all the cosmetics for any given tourney for players and then you have whales helping out too so this practice is never ever going to go away

played it ; def has a game of thrones type story and the game is a between challenging and sometimes pretty hard at least for me

I think many gamers aren't doing their proper research its a portable device but its really a mirroring device disguised as marketed as a portable device for reasons

1. PS5 has to be on so outside of 40-50 yards I dont think even if device has a feature to turn on the PS5 remotely its going to reach

2. battery life is very short reported 3-3.5 hrs of use

3. Device needs a WiFi device to stay connected ...near your home your not going to be gaming in a airport 5-7 miles from your house and expect the device to turn on and play games while you wait in the waiting room lobby

4. Its been reported it eats a ton of data ...like its been reported avg of 15 mbs per second so even after a couple days of doing this your going to eat through your data plan in a week and have super slow speeds for browsing or have your data plan cut off entirely

many gamers I bet are unaware of these flaws and honestly think its a PS5 connect from anywhere in the city type device which it is not

@Mintie thats my guess as well im banking they have most likely crossed the 5 mil threshhold by now

what did they expect ? this game is only in name when it comes to Final Fantasy; the combat was a joke ; most of the level sequences are eaten up by cutscenes that linger far too long for far too often then followed up by a area fight then followed up with a mid boss sequence then another +3 cutscenes followed by a cinematic boss fight which your doing 10% of ;

most linear FF game Ive ever played and the story falls apart after Act II ; slow character movement and an unwanted very shallow and limited combat system which you can only select 6 moves total when theres like 5 eidelons with 3 moves each ; game was made for the casuals and they completely ignored the fanbase
thats why this game failed

@Almost_Ghostly well it happened to me and my PS5 sits on a cooling sink fan and I was playing on Fidelity mode ; Ps5 was purchased in middle of Feb and it happened to me 4 x ; 1 x during Eikon battle so unsure the cause

the game froze on me like 4 times throughout the story ; 1 instance I had to repeat a Eikon battle which are cutscene heavy so imagine my frustration ; unsure what the cause was PS5 was purchased in Febuary and had seldom used it and it was on a cooler unit

never say never in 10 years we could see Nintendo games on Sony consoles ;
