First person would probably work in some areas that are combat free. I feel that the franchise wouldn't quite work in first person, considering combat has always taken place in a third person POV. Still, if you could toggle between the two, it would mean you could go for a complete one-or-the-other playthrough, or strictly use the first person view to observe the finer details of your environment that are obscured/muddled by the distant camera.
That being said, I don't trust that website at all, it looks shadier than "Free Candy" sign adorning a manhole.
Now watch as Gamestops all over the world (If those don't exist outside the U.S. than you have no clue how lucky you are!) duct tape HEAVENLY SWORD II over the proper title, completely disrespecting the developers.
Or, better yet, the entire game turns out to be nothing but a palette swap of the previous one. Oh wait, this is a separate IP.
I didn't think they made these anymore! I just hope it getss a worldwide release, as opposed to being exclusive to Japan (Who always get nice things.) exclusive.
Speaking of Gradius though, I'd love if Konami broke the almost 10 year curse and released a 6th installment on the PS4. Don't pull an Irem, guys, Pachinko machines aren't Shmups!
