@Sub-Xero I can answer that question. If you see the % of people who have a 4K TV compare to 1080P is small but, those who have a 4K TV almost 0.9% have HDMI 2.1 for 4K 120hz. The majority of the TV's out there just support 4K 60hz with HDMI 2.0 or below. But if you have a TV with 120hz even if doesn't have HDMI 2.1 you can play 1440P @120hz and it's better than 4K 60hz. If you gane on PC almost 80% of those monitors are 1440p (They call it 2K) with 144hz. If the PS5 supports 1440p it's a huge win for SONY and gamers who have gaming PC.
