@4fold Each game is stand alone for the most part. Dq7 doesn't have any major links to any of the other games. Plus dq7 is a very long game, streamlined means more of decreasing grind and trimming some of the fat from the original plot. From what I've read for square enix, it will still be the full narrative. It just won't drag out for as long.
