I would prefer the new game to be a continuation of the first so that all the knowledge and experience I've gained and the time I've invested in developing my character, won't be wasted. The story line ended with looking towards taking owls so there are the senior years and newts to go at Hogwarts yet. The terrain could remain the same too, but with a new story could come a new set of villains and quests within it. One thing I found weird in the first game was being expected to break into people's houses to steal from them. I drew the line at that. I also drew the line at using dark magic. If we ourselves resort to the ways of dark wizards then what justification do we have for fighting against them.
