I get people want physical discs but with the massive day one patches and months of following performance patches, do you really need the disc? You want to play a broken launch game? Most likely downloading all of the patches is just downloading the fixed game in it's entirety
As hardware prices continue to increase, the PS6 will have a bad launch because I'm guessing it will be more than the PS5 Pro which is sitting around $900
I loved the cop chases in NFS: Most Wanted (2005). That was some great white knuckle driving trying to avoid the cops while cutting through a golf course...
"Furiosa: Mad Max Saga" and "From the World of John Wick: Ballerina" lost money because they were missing a key ingredient... the main characters of Mad Max and John Wick. They may have better success with a new IP instead of riding the coattails of something that exists.
With all of the job losses (I lost my job as a SW engineer as well), the rising costs of of hardware, and game studios shedding people, I don't see how gaming will thrive over the next several years. I only buy games on sale because I don't like paying $70 to be a tester.
It's getting to the point where I wait for patches to fix game issues before buying. I want to experience the game in a good state from start to finish.
@SoulsBourne128 Everybody's Golf was handed over to Bandai Namco and it wasn't as good as the last game. I hope the they are remastering infamous as I loved the first two games.
After reading the reviews on IGN and Push Square, I got the game since I grew up in the 80s and 90s. So many inaccuracies and it's the first game I ever played where the controller was optional. Whoever made this game can't even get rewinding a cassette tape correct (it would actually unwind the tape and you put the sharpened end of the pencil in first). Reverting back to the wait and see approach before buying.

Re: Reaction: PlayStation's Reputation Is at Rock Bottom - Where Do We Go from Here?
@ShadowRJ Playable? Like Cyberpunk 2077 or Borderlands 4? Good luck to you because games are only going to get worse on disc.

Re: Poll: How Much Will GTA 6 Cost?
$49.99 - because that's what I'll pay for it once it goes on sale.

Re: 'Every Detail Matters': Sony Drops New Promo for $900 PS5 Pro
LOL - when the PS5 Pro was launched people thought it was too expensive. I guess they expected that raising the price would change their mind.
