@Bez87 what's worse than closing a bunch of studios? Getting rid of physical media completely the same week you delete a bunch of purchased content from people's library
@Eld You're here reading and commenting on the same article...
Also, I'd like to know what store you can go into and video games are sold in the toys section? Not target, Walmart, or best buy. Even toys r us had a walled of electronics section that video games were sold in.
Sorry for caring about the news related to my hobby and how it affects me as a consumer.
What are your hobbies? Playing with numbers for your fantasy league of grown adults playing recess? Doing recess yourself? Watching grown adults play dress up on TV?
@Bez87 Sony is one of the most anti-consumer companies in existence, you have you head somewhere where the sun doesn't shine if you think differently.
Yeah, you're right, Sony hasn't bought any publishers. So what's the excuse they have for having closed 6 studios in the last six years? Microsoft has only closed 4 in that time frame for the record.
And then look at what they've done to studios like Bungie. What was even the point of that? They bought the company out for 0 of it's assets apparently.
Oh and let's not forget all of the companies they've forced to make trash live service games and then gotten rid of.
Let's not forget how they're raising prices on psn while Microsoft is dropping the price on the far superior game pass.
Or how Sony spent a decade trying to prevent crossplay from being a thing.
Or all of the purchased content they have just deleted from customers libraries.
What about all the IP the Sony just sits on and says screw off to anyone who wants to do anything with?
Or how they have introduced targeted pricing to their store.
Or how Sony helped ruin games like marvels avengers by forcing exclusivity and preventing crossplay? You're probably brainwashed and lack the critical thinking skills though so you think exclusivity is a good thing instead of harmful to consumers.
Also their God awful, thieving, customer service.
Sure Microsoft bought out a couple publishers, but overall has been pretty good for the community, having all Bethesda, Activision, and blizzard games just on game pass has been great. Has let me try out and play games I otherwise never would have been able to afford.
Or a console like the series s, specifically designed for lower income households to afford.
Or how Microsoft made Xbox cloud available everywhere where as Sony forces you to buy their ugly and incredibly limited tablet with attached controllers.
How Microsoft does true day and date multiplatform releases whereas Sony is constantly trying to buy 3rd party timed exclusives and charging full price games releasing on PC 2 years after they came out and then wondering why no one wants to buy it.
Microsoft has definitely done some messed up stuff and I don't support this decision, if this rumor even ends up being true, but overall they are by far the more pro-gamer company and less anti-consumer
@Korgon not assuming, I've played several of the FS games on some trash tier wifi with restricted NATs that will fail to load videos at 1080p and didn't experience lag in their multiplayer. Hell, during a hurricane I used 4G hotspot from Sprint off my phone and was able to play lag free multiplayer with a friend doing the same thing (except with t-mobile)

@Bez87 Sony has done way more harm to the gaming community lmao
Re: More People Are Playing the Original Horizon Zero Dawn Than Its Remaster on PC
Sounds to me more like no one wants to spend $10 on something they can do for free using nexus mods
