@ConstructionGuy well said, but sometimes the carrot is better than the stick. Not emphasizing on which one you used in your conversation, but compassion goes a long way. Sometimes it's not even the persons fault but how they were raised and what environment they were raised in that made them the way they are. Trust me, where I'm from, I understand what it's like to have something you don't believe, simply bred into you since before birth. We should be understanding and compassionate if we ask
the same from anyone else, by definition, in my belief. But great comment, I believe he/she does need to take a look inward instead of lashing outward..

@Zuljaras I like your point of view and I agree. You don't have to like someone's beliefs or actions to not fear or understand them or where they're coming from. Acceptance is more the keyword here. Disagreeing with one another has literally helped our society grow in so many ways, in science more than most. But they weren't harassing or discrediting even shaming the person they disagreed with. Understanding and acceptance does such a long way and some people have too much fear to even try that ride. I believe peace wins out in the end. By end, I mean far down the road. It takes a long time for someone to change their own nature that was ingrained in them growing up. It might even take Generations of people to get us where we need to be in this hateful world. Really nice comment, it's good that someone can agree and even add to the conversation without saying (You're wrong!)...

@Commander91_YT I've always tried my best, if able, to never fear something that isn't an actual threat to my life or wellbeing.. especially things I do not understand. Only if people would use fear in its correct and/or intended functionalities, it'd be peace love and granola all over the Earth bra.lol I'm being serious tho.. but by far FEAR is the strongest, most common, most pervasive and most perpetuated emotion, in a whole, for almost all of humanity.. but I honestly believe the tides are turning, ever so slowly... That maybe in 30-60 years from now, (hopefully sooner) it'll be nonexistent, and spoke about as we now speak about past Barbarian times... I can't wait for, at least, most of the humans on Earth understanding each other and each other's beliefs. Also, getting along with each other without fear holding back everyone's better emotions.. I know I'm optimistic on this stance, but it sure would be a beautiful Paradise..

@Commander91_YT bro, it just goes to show how much irrational fear and bigotry that people have against things they do not understand. There's already too much hate in the world. Why would you want to argue about the way you look or act in an unrealistic environment inside a video game? And I hate to say it but I believe that are game developers and their teams I really to blame. Now let me explain. The reason it upsets so many people I think is because we have came so far from Pong to Super Mario 64 to nowadays some of, if not, the most realistic games to date.. I believe it's becoming too real for people that have mixed feelings on the issues but again I digress. It shouldn't matter who or what or how you are as a main character in a video game, or any character in a video game. If people don't like that I suggest looking inward and soul-searching or simply just playing different games. Instead we get much too much hate for something that is fictional and meant for entertainment. There are plenty of movies but I don't like so you know what I do? I don't watch them. Same way with any music on the radio today or Internet too. If there's something I don't like I change the channel. Fear is an unusual thing and hopefully one day...hopefully...we are able to control it more than it controls us..

@Commander91_YT and I agree naughty dog has taken a step in the right direction so what's to say they wouldn't go further? They've already opened it up to public scrutiny and have been decently received. Thinking logically they will continue using both male and female of whatever sexual orientation in their future games. The best way to predict the future, is but to look at the past.

@Commander91_YT wil read my reply to @Leroy1985. He's obviously 35ish and stuck in old ways that him and others need to, rather deal with, or avoid.. I don't believe the main character's gender or sexuality no matter what it is should be a debate because it shouldn't matter either way. And why not make the next character alien neither male or female or there's plenty of other ideas. They have the means to do this. I even gave a second gameplay through the choice of a male or female character select at the beginning of the game giving the game and the person playing it a second perspective and another possibility of an injury different game experience and all wrapped into one game that could be played multiple way. Why not equal it instead of overly dominate it with male or female?

Re: After The Last of Us 2's Record Success, Naughty Dog Is Staffing Up for PS5

Jacobyman2589

@Leroy1985 why the f*$! would it matter what friggin gender we play as!? Why not a game that gives you the choice of which character to be and is different throughout the entire game, giving you a second perspective and a second playthrough for the price of one game? And who cares if they're lesbians or alien frackers? If progress from Human to Human, no matter, bothers you then I believe you shouldn't play a game like this or check your inner emotions and think about things rationally about how much it really affects you to play as a female or ANY gender, anywhere on the sexuality Spectrum.

It's like you read my mind @kyleforrester87.. You wouldn't happen to be a Jacksepticeye fan, would you? I only ask bc Jack/Seán is friends with the voice actor that portrays Joel in the game, which is Troy Baker.. Seán, also is adamant about, if not more excited about, the fact that Naughty Dog were dropping hints throughout The Last of Us: Part II about the next game they're going to be making. Seán said almost VERBATIM, of what you said. So if you stretch just enough, you could think that Seán has, somewhat, of an inner loop or channel closer to the inner circle than most, meaning we all could very well be seeing a Naughty Dog: Space bound action/adventure/puzzle/semi-open world/shooter type game on the Brand New and powerful Playstation 5 Console.. It would be so nice to see naughty dog run along a 'Dead Space' type, vein, with even more Adventure/Action/etc. into a infinite amount of backdrop locations with amazing new world engines....and....I can only imagine the pristine graphics. I think that would be one AMAZING first step to spring board themselves off the new PS5 console into something that they could make into a sequel or even a trilogy..BUT One can only hope and pray that is could possibly be the exact future.. SO, if it's true then you heard it here first! (I think....)

Sincerely,
