@Kefka2589 They could easily make WLF a military organisation with armored trucks, armored troops, even maybe specops and setera. And in that context Joel incident could look not pure luck and dumbness based, but inevitable. And that could explain why Ellie feels weak and vulnerable. Why she wants to destroy those people, why she wants her revenge. That could even explain to her why Joel did what he did and why that was smart and good maybe. But in current story Ellie destroys all those people like insects, she kills hundreds of them and still feels weak and vulnerable. And I don't understand why Ellie can't just do what Abby did. Why couldn't she catch some poor soul, interrogate him or her. Find out about Abby and her friends and where to catch them. But for some reason she is very unlucky and kills or finds dead everyone who can tell her something untill it's almost over. And what about Tommy? Was he unlucky too and decided to snipe some people for no reason? And suddenly Abby appears on his way, but he was unlucky to kill her for some unknown reason, even if game shows him as sniper god. For me, everything in the story doesn't make any sense and pure luck based.
