@Jrs1 not really the same issue. If i pay to see a movie, sports event or concert I am aware it is a one off event and the money I have spent is for that occasion only. If I buy a bluray etc of the movie, sporting event, concert then I expect to be able to watch that for as long as my physical media survives.
For me the situation reminds me of RD2. when that came out I hated the idea of not playing as John Marston, a character I loved from what I considered one of the most emotive games I'd played. 30 minutes into RD2 and I was in love with Arthur and what he stood for and could be. If a games developer is talented enough to create one amazing character in Jin chances are they can do it again. I can't wait to play this new Ghost game. I also feel these people completing should just constantly play as the tall, white, blonde, male protagonist of Wolfenstein 24/7 and miss all the irony of the game.
