Howdy! There is an old saying - there's no accounting personal taste.
Meaning in matters of personal taste, there's no "right" or "wrong" opinion. There is just what you prefer, or don't prefer. If someone doesn't like a particular software publisher's games, I don't have a problem with that...it's just the way things are with people. Some like some of it, some don't like any of it. While I own all three big publishers' consoles, I try not to be bigoted about any one publisher's efforts. I have some Sony games I like a lot, I have some Microsoft xbox games I like, I have some Nintendo switch 1 & 2 games I like. I also have a gaming PC I like. To me, it came as no surprise that Microsoft wanted to become a multi-platform publisher, when they bought all of those multi-platform companies. I applaud them, and say congratulations on graduating to multi-platform status! It's become obvious to me that some people just live in the past, thinking there shouldn't be multi-platform publishers. Some xbox fans feel betrayed, as well as some Sony fans just can't let the war loose either. Whatever happens in the future, this is just a game machine folks! It's not that serious a matter. Move on! The war is over. Get a life. If someone doesn't like xbox games, that's perfectly fine! Insults and labels on either side is unwarranted. Some people don't like or understand Sony games. It's all just personal opinion - everybody's got one. Diversity of opinion is a good thing. It should be that way. Any publisher's games will either succeed or fail in the marketplace, and that will provide the true worth of any particular game anyway. No need to fight! I'll admit, the fighting was entertaining though... But, times are a changing. Best adapt to the latest news, whatever it is. That, at least, is my opinion on the "conversation" at hand.
