I'm kind of disappointed in the change of her skirt because I pre-ordered the game specifically for her original outfit for nostalgic reasons and because I like playing as feminine characters in life threatening environments in games. I'm not mad because I wanted to look up Jill's skirt nor because she wasn't "sexualized enough". Wearing a skirt doesn't sexualize a person. Resident Evil has also done panty shots in the past such as Jill's black underwear when you change her outfit to the Resident Evil 3 costume in Resident Evil 1 Remastered and you can see up her skirt when Barry is pulling her from the falling ceiling room, as well as Leon being able to look up Ashley's skirt in Resident Evil 4. However, I do understand that they probably wanted to make this game more serious and they had to change the events a little to make it that way. So Jill wasn't dressed to ever go to a farewell party in the remake so she didn't have a reason to wear a skirt. Even then, she could have worn the skirt with shorts underneath it for anyone who tried to look up her skirt. Not that it matters much, but I'm a female who loves dressing in skirts and dresses so that's also one of the reasons why I would have loved Jill in a skirt.
