Re: Druckmann on The Last of Us HBO Story Outpacing the Games: 'I Leave Nothing on the Line'

"When I made The Last of Us 1, I didn’t know if there was going to be a sequel, so that had to be a definitive ending. When I worked on Uncharted 4, I don’t know if we’ll ever get to do it again. I need it to be a definitive ending. Last of Us 2, same way. All these things have to line up."

Cliffhangers are always a bummer, especially when there isn’t another season. So I do like the idea of a definitive ending. You just never know what might occur in the future. I mean look at what happened to game of thrones. Dragon ball super is still going but the creator is dead. Hunter X Hunter, that show is never going to have an ending. And don’t even get me started with the one piece anime πŸ™„
Things should not go on forever, there should always be an ending at some point. So say whatever you want about this game studio but I do like the idea of not waiting forever for a ending.

Say what you want about console, but PC seems like a dumpster fire when it comes to ports πŸ‘€
Just seems like one thing after another πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Imagine spending a whole bunch of money on a PC and than you find out you can’t play a particular new game that you was looking forward to like the new monster hunter game πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈπŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ‘€

β€œExpansive reports from both Bloomberg and GameFile reveal that billionaire CEO Ding Lei is on a massive money saving spree, and its overseas teams will be taking the fall. We’ve already seen evidence of this following the redundancies around hit game Marvel Rivals’ support studio in Seattle.β€œ

Re: Hobbit Life Sim Tales of the Shire Has Been Delayed Again, Now Out in July

β€œInstead, the developer said it wants Tales of the Shire to feel like "a warm hug from Middle-earth, and we are making sure that no matter where you play, you'll feel right at home in The Shire". The focus on "no matter where you play" in the statement may suggest some platforms aren't running the game as well as others.”

Interesting, because it doesn’t look like that demanding of a game. I would imagine that even the Xbox One and switch can run this game πŸ€”

β€œResident Evil Re:Verse was developed in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series, and your overwhelming support for the game has far exceeded our expectations since the time of its release,” a rather optimistic statement said.
β€œNow that we’ve reached a new turning point for the series, we feel that Resident Evil Re:Verse has served its original, celebratory purpose admirably. We are incredibly grateful for your warm support for Resident Evil Re:Verse, and we deeply apologise for bringing you this disappointing news.”

It’s like they are trying to say it was a success and a failure at the same time πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

They say so much when it’s not needed. It was a failure and therefore we will no longer be supporting the game and will be taking it off all digital platforms and so forth. πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„
