We've all been wondering where the PS5 port of Forza Horizon 6 is, and now we have our best idea of when to expect its arrival thanks to a very reliable source.

Billbil-kun, reporting via Dealabs, has "exclusively obtained" information about the open world racing game's PS5 debut and other release details.

According to the report, Forza Horizon 6 will launch on PS5 on 26th January, 2027.

This would tally with reports from other sources that claimed the game was being pushed into the new year.

The report also states it'll set you back €69.99/£59.99, the same price as on Xbox Series, and it'll get a physical PS5 release too.

The final detail worth mentioning is that the official announcement will apparently be made sometime this week, with pre-orders opening immediately after.

Billbil-kun has been very accurate with gaming information for many years, most notably with regards to PS Plus. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see all these details be proven true when Xbox does announce the PS5 release date.

It's interesting timing; Forza Horizon 6 released to glowing praise upon its original launch back in May, but sentiment among fans has become less favourable.

That's mostly in light of irregular/low quality post-launch updates, and it recently reached a point where the team made an official statement:

I imagine the game will be very much worth playing when it hits PS5, and hopefully Playground Games will have improved its cadence of updates by then, too. Or, perhaps, once the PS5 version is out the door, updates could maybe become more consistent.
