ZA/UM has shared the PS5 version of Zero Parades: For Dead Spies will launch on 3rd November 2026 as an expanded Director's Cut containing new content, dialogue, modes, and additional improvements.

This will build on the well-received original version, which in itself was one of many spiritual successors to Disco Elysium. Of course, ZA/UM did develop that game, but the team that made Zero Parades is essentially unrecognisable from that of Disco Elysium. A lot of turmoil and departures at the studio meant many creative leads on Disco Elysium didn't stick around for Zero Parades.

Despite the controversy, the new game, Zero Parades, was fairly well received when it launched on PC earlier this year, earning a Metacritic rating of 83. Now, that base game comes to PS5 in better shape with some Director's Cut add-ons.

Here's what ZA/UM is including in the Director's Cut update:

  • A new Dramatic Encounter — Hershel and Ramses, baked out of their brains, trying to escape Quisach Roundabout.
  • Approximately 40,000 words of new material — discuss L-Pop with Ramses, get into dolphin-human hybridity with HOLOCENE, and learn more about the Opera from Melita.
  • Backstage Mode — take a stroll through our development process with technical breakdowns, cut content and development stories told by our Art Director.
  • More to Portofiro — including new clothing, NPC interactions, death screens and further atmospheric additions.
  • Quality-of-life improvements — such as new inventory sorting and grouping, improved orbital interactions and aspect-ratio support (21:9 and 32.9 displays).
