by Fans of The Eminence in Shadow anime – which started life as a light novel, of course – may be excited to learn a roguelite adaptation is in development for the PS5.
A collaboration between publisher Aiming with Team Caravan on dev duties, the title will be brought to the West courtesy of NIS America in 2027.
There has been a video game adaptation of The Eminence in Shadow before, but that was a mobile gacha title. This new title is designed and built for consoles.
There’s not a whole lot of information in the press release unfortunately, but you can get a glimpse of the gameplay courtesy of the trailer embedded above.

This was another title buried in the State of Play Japan livestream, which means I think it got a little bit overlooked after people tuned out from the main show.
