We've known for a while now that Metro 2039 would be launching in February 2027, but now we can attach an exact date that: 4th February 2027. The release date was confirmed in a new trailer at State of Play that also featured the first PS5 Pro footage of the hardcore title. Watch it above.
This is the PS5 Pro version running in Performance Mode at 60 frames-per-second with ray tracing.
I don't think this was the best showing the game's had, as the combat looks a little awkward. Still, I expect this to be yet another excellent Metro experience — a more focused and linear one after the wider Metro Exodus.

So Metro, fable, tomb raider, and god of war Laufey are all releasing in Feb so far. There are 12 months in a year, why do we keep doing this XD
@LiamCroft
Combat looks good, typical close quarters stuff for Metro...nice pacing and gorgeous graphics.
I love the look of that one should be said. Better than any of the dedicated shooter franchise
Not a Metro fan but god those visuals looked insane.
I hope they go the more linear route of the first 2 games.
@BentIeyma it's confirmed that this is back to the old formula of level design. I would be excited either way.
