Square Enix has remastered an ancient Dragon Quest spin-off, and it's releasing today on PS5.
Dragon Quest Heroes: Torneko's Mystery Dungeon - Classic HD is a revival of 1993 SNES title Torneko's Great Adventure. The original game was never officially released outside of Japan.
The randomised dungeon crawler sees the titular Torneko — a party member from Dragon Quest 4 and a playable character in Dragon Quest Heroes 2 — explore monster-filled mazes in search of treasure.

Apparently, the original game can be a brutal experience, so it'll be interesting to see whether this remaster smooths things out a bit.

Interesting love a bit of a dragon quest.
Didn’t see this one on the bingo cards! It could be very interesting and challenging - I will be reading first impressions etc
