It's an important time for Gundam in regards to video games, and not just because the fantastic looking Gundam Rogue Orbit is locked in for a March 2027 release.

Indeed, it's apparently been 40 whole years since Gundam first stepped onto the gaming scene (I'm honestly not sure which title is being used as the starting point) and so an official celebratory broadcast has been announced.

The event will take place in late October, and it would make sense for it to feature updates on Rogue Orbit, as well as future project reveals.

Gundam games have been incredibly hit and miss over the decades, and there have been long stretches where fans have had to go without any real quality — especially here in the west.

However, as evidenced by Rogue Orbit, it does feel like the property's starting to take gaming more seriously. This live stream could give us a better understanding of what the plan is.
