With the release of Halo: Campaign Evolved on PS5, the iconic Master Chief is making his PlayStation debut.
For many of you, that may mean experiencing Bungie’s classic campaign, remade here in Unreal Engine 5, for the first time.
That’s certainly the case for Push Square's own Aaron Bayne, who joined Outside Xbox's Jane Douglas and Andy Farrant for his first taste of Microsoft’s iconic green space marine.

Sponsored, gross.
Kind of says a lot when Microsoft doesn't have enough cash to employ people, but has enough money to pay Playstation fan sites to convince Playstatation fans to play little known game, Halo.
@Gunnerzaurus You do realize that's not how businesses work, right? Each department has its own allocated budget. The marketing budget and the budget used to pay game devs in a completely different department do not overlap.
@Questionable_Duck whilst I agree woth your explanation, I also semi agree with #1 just simply because of layman terms optics.
If you don't understand inter-deparrmental budgeting you'll see a different story to those who do. And sadly more people will understand their point immediately.
Luckily you snapped in almost immediately to help flesh out the jigsaw! 👍
In relation to actual Halo: I'll buy it on sale. I loved it back on the original and then the anniversary edition, but I'm not ready for it yet. Maybe after this year and FF7R is done with next year. Be ironic that Halo may be my last "big game" for my PS5 🤣
@Gunnerzaurus Makes more sense to advertise the game on a PlayStation-centric site where a large portion of the audience is new to the Halo games, rather than an Xbox-centric site where the majority are more than familiar with the series. They want to gain a new audience, not sell a remake to the same playerbase (like with The Last of Us).
They could have spent the budget on high profile Twitch streamers or YouTubers to play the game and promote it, but they chose this site instead, which is not much different.
