Embrace Your Inner John Hammond with Dinosaur Park Tycoon Game Parkasaurus on PS5 1

Publisher Atari has announced it's bringing Parkasaurus to PS5 in just a few weeks.

As you might have guessed from the game's name, it's a management sim in which you fill enclosures with various species of dinosaurs and maximise your profits to make your park even bigger and better.

Here's the trailer:

Parkasaurus originally launched on PC in 2020, followed by a Nintendo Switch port a couple of years later. Now, the Dinoluxe Edition is coming to PS5 on 5th August, 2026.

This version includes both DLC packs alongside the base game, and presents it all at native 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.

It has a cute aesthetic, but it looks like it has all the features you'd expect of a game like this. You research new species to unlock them for your park, you can terraform environments to suit your dinos, and you have to hire staff and build attractions for your paying customers.

On top of that, it looks like things can get out of hand, with creatures escaping from their enclosures and going on rampages through your park.

While most of the game seems to be isometric, it looks like the action will swap to first person when you need to get things in control.
