You Share One Body With Multiple Souls in This Strange New PS5 Horror Game 1

Unsettling Japanese horror, the awkwardly named UN:Me, will launch on the PS5 later this year.

The game, from Tokyo-based dev historia, was previously only announced for PC, but will add Sony’s system to its launch slate when it arrives on an undetermined date in the future.

The release puts you in control of a young girl who’s harbouring multiple souls within her body.

By engaging with dialogue and unravelling the mental labyrinth occurring within her mind, you’ll need to untangle these souls one-by-one, and determine which one will survive.

As the press release points out: “One body can harbor only one soul.”

It certainly sounds intriguing, and some of the presentation in this latest trailer is surreal and disturbing – it’s all a bit Black Hole Sun, isn’t it?

There’s no shortage of psychological survival horrors on the PS5 – last year’s Silent Hill F was one of my personal favourites – but this certainly seems to have a je ne sais quoi which should help set it apart from the crowd.

It’s one to keep an eye on.
