All jokes aside, I hope the game does well.

Let's be honest, a title like this isn't competing with GTA VI. If you're interested in this game you'll likely be getting it regardless of when it releases.

Myself included.

It looks really fun but these kind of games always release so broken so a few months extra in the oven won't hurt it anyway.

@SMJ it's not just GTA VI, though. There are way too many releases from September on.

I’ll never agree with anyone holding back titles just to avoid packed “windows”. That’s stupid. The game will sell or it won’t. Consumers shouldn’t have to wait on completed products just because some people lack the disposable income to buy everything they want day one. You can buy every game you want in your own time frame.

I don't think there's a "window" where a game like this sells anything more than modestly. Which is fine if the studio's budget reflects that. Know your audience and all that... which is me, I'll be picking this up.

@DefiledViper It's not so much disposable income as much as it is the time to play them. Most people don't just play games, they enjoy a lot of different things and gaming is something they do when there's nothing else going on. So therefore, they pick the most obvious choice for them personally, buy it, eventually finish it or get bored of it, then look at what else is out - with a probable recency bias. Inevitably loads of games just pass them by because there's always new stuff coming out.

Brits use of commas is, how you say, interestingly, overused. And in some way, however, needlessly, without question, verbose.

Never heard of it before this article, and after watching the trailer, I have no idea if this is something I'd love or something I'd hate. It has potential, at least.

Not sure when it comes out and how much competition it has will matter - six months after release it will be on a Plus tier and I'll give it a shot then.
