Indie heavyweight Annapurna Interactive has revealed The Lost Wild, a "first-person survival horror game" that focuses on dinosaurs. Check out the announcement trailer above, with a PS5 version launching next year.
Rather than behave like monsters, the idea behind The Lost Wild is the dinosaurs act like wild animals.
"Explore a prehistoric wilderness where you’re squarely in the center of the food chain. Keep your head down, stay alert, and evade. If all else fails, run or try to intimidate using non-lethal weaponry, resulting in intense cat and mouse-style gameplay."

Genuinely looks really interesting. This looked better than most of the higher profile games this SoP
At first I thought it was Jurassic Park Survival, but this looks really good.
How many more dinosaur horror games need to be made before Capcom finally decides to make a new Dino Crisis game?
I think this game left me most impressions. Gives me Jurassic park vibes and I love classic Jurassic park
Thought this was Jurassic Park: Survival.
hen Code violet was announced, people thought it would be a spiritual successor to Dino crisis. So the bar is lower than the mariana trench for this one.
Headline made me think it was actually Dino crisis. That's disappointing
I like Annapurna games. This one looks great! Cant wait
Annapurna is not a indie game developer its owned by paramount they have more money to spend than any naughty dog or cory balrog.
@Scottyy JP Survival may very well be lost to the void. If this releases first and is good then people aren't going to care enough to play Survival. They made a mistake revealing it way too early.
@QwarktasticLombax
I still believe that one will be a better game in terms of polish and production qualities.
This gave me Jurassic Park vibes, not the films but the novel, which is so much better (even if I was about 7 when I first read it). So I could be tempted by this...
