Level-5's Snack World Remake Drops Nintendo Exclusivity, Coming to PS5 1

Roguelike dungeon crawler Snack World, originally a 3DS and later a Switch exclusive, will make its PS5 debut at some point in the future. Legendary dev Level-5 didn’t confirm a release date.

Another multimedia franchise from the Fukuoka-based firm, this game first debuted on the 3DS in 2017. It’d later release worldwide on the Switch in 2020.

Much like Inazuma Eleven, Fantasy Life, and now Professor Layton, the series is shedding its Nintendo exclusivity and making its PS5 debut.

A whimsical dungeon crawler roguelike with diorama-like visuals, fans of the recent Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined may appreciate the look and style of this remake.

The official website reveals:

“Enhanced graphics bring the world to life like a beautifully crafted diorama. Enjoy refined gameplay and controls, with a brand-new mode planned that will let you step into the role of Chup, the anime’s protagonist.”

As mentioned above there’s no release date for this game just yet, but it’s in development for the PS5, so you can look forward to playing it at some point in the future.
