Like most modern fighting games, Invincible VS will have a cinematic story mode – and here’s your first look at it in motion.
Many are already joking that the animation looks better than the popular Amazon Prime show, and there’s no doubt the game’s excellent 3D models look remarkable in motion. It’s got a kinda Spider-Verse, stop motion-style look to it.
The story is being penned by the show’s writers, but we’d expect nothing less, given this entire project is being helmed by series creator Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Games.

While the trailer doesn’t reveal much about the structure, we wouldn’t expect anything too complicated; we imagine you’ll get flashy cinematics interspersed with fighting sequences, and that’s fine from where we’re standing.
This game’s imminent now, by the way – it’s due out next week, on 30th April. And we hope to bring you a review in due course.
