It’s so interesting how all these always online, live service games are suddenly getting retail releases.
A few years ago, Honkai Star Rail launched on Blu-ray for the PS5, and since Zenless Zone Zero has announced similar plans.
Now we have confirmation that Wuthering Waves will follow the same path, with its physical release due on 30th April in Japan.
The Deluxe Edition is expected to launch worldwide, but we’ll double-check to see if the date is the same globally.
As with the aforementioned, you will get the full game on the disc, but it’ll be out-of-date the second you put it in your system. That’s because these types of games are constantly updating, and require patching almost every day.
The Deluxe Edition is more for fans to display on their shelves, then, and it includes a bunch of exclusive bonuses, including an acrylic standee, metal card, coloured paper, and post card. You also get a voucher for some in-game rewards.
