More than three years after its original PS5, PS4 release, Atomic Heart will receive a fourth and final piece of DLC. Given the name Blood on Crystal, it's launching on 16th April 2026 and you can see it in action in the trailer above.

This last expansion is pitched as the "conclusion" to Atomic Heart, though a sequel has already been revealed. "Venture deeper in Facility 3826 to battle CHAR-les and make a last desperate bid to save humanity from total annihilation," is the pitch. "Adapt your fighting style on the fly and make the most of your arsenal."

If you haven't played Atomic Heart yet and want the complete package, an Ultimate Edition will be offered that bundles the base game in with all four expansions and some bonus content. On top of all the playable content, there is a 250-page digital art book and some skin packs.

The Ultimate Edition is available physically on 24th March 2026, and then the digital edition launches alongside the final expansion on 16th April 2026.

Atomic Heart PS5 PS4 2

First launched in February 2023, we awarded the game a 6/10 rating in our Atomic Heart PS5 Review. "This mashup of shooter, stealth, and RPG wears its influences proudly but rarely matches them. Its alt-history setting is interesting and there are plenty of ways to approach the robot-killing, but these elements are at odds with messy storytelling and characterisation."
