We now know Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will launch with 20 characters when it drops on 6th August.
11 of those characters have already been announced, with Magik, Wolverine, and Danger joining the roster in yesterday’s State of Play trailer. That means we still have time to learn about nine before launch.
But what about the game’s post-release plans?
Well, obviously Sony is remaining tight-lipped about that while it works towards launch, but it has confirmed there’ll be a Year 1 Characters & Stage Pass, which will include four additional fighters and one stage beyond launch.
This will be included as part of both the Digital Deluxe Edition ($84.99) and Ultimate Edition ($99.99), but we suspect it’ll also be available a la carte for those who own the Standard Edition and want to grab it later.
The game will also support alternative outfits, because the aforementioned Ultimate Edition will include costumes for Storm, Captain America, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, and Spider-Man.
As mentioned above, there’s still plenty of time to learn about the title’s post-release plans here. But here’s an early glimpse into what dev Arc System Works has planned.
