Publisher THQ Nordic and developer DigixArt have announced a delay for the upcoming narrative adventure game Tides of Tomorrow.

Originally planned to release towards the end of February, the ambitious sci-fi title is now scheduled to arrive on 22nd April, 2026.

In a press release, the publisher explains why the team needs more time:

"Following extensive feedback gathered from the Tides of Tomorrow playable demo and an ongoing closed beta, the development team determined that additional time is needed to respond to player input and implement improvements. This extra development period will help ensure the best possible experience for the upcoming narrative-driven adventure."

For those out of the loop, Tides of Tomorrow is a story-driven, first-person adventure in which the actions of other players directly impact your experience.

You choose a different player to "follow", be it a friend or a stranger, and whatever choices and actions they took in their playthrough will affect certain events in the story when you play. In turn, your decisions will impact another person's experience with the game.
