Sony has shared the PS Store's download charts for the month of December 2025, and it's ARC Raiders putting up the strongest fight for the top spot on PS5.
The popular sci-fi extraction shooter manages to topple NBA 2K26 in North America, but it has to settle for second in Europe, where EA Sports FC 26 rules the roost.
ARC Raiders has been on the ascent; it managed second and third place positions last month, so things are looking up for Embark's shooter.
Elsewhere, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 falls to third and fourth in the US and EU charts respectively, while Grand Theft Auto V retains its hold on the top 10.

Battlefield 6 is trending down, currently in eighth and 10th position. Moving up, meanwhile, is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33; it's in 10th and ninth, perhaps buoyed by its record-breaking run at The Game Awards (and a discount certainly helps).

Great game, it's smashing records on Steam, I think it's the only game that has retained its initial player base so long after release almost beating its peak amount of players online at the same time so long after release in the last few days. That's two months after release. It recently bested the amount of players logging on over a 24 hour period with an amazing 3.2 million players in 24 hours across all platforms, with PS making up a quarter of those numbers, slightly ahead of Xbox! Love it, things are indeed looking good for Embark and well deserved.
I still need to go back to Arc Raiders. The game feels right, but I just haven’t played it much. So far, I don’t really get why I’m doing what I do in the game, you know?
I mean, it feels like a third person shooter stuff hoarder simulator so far. It plays quite well, but I guess I don’t get the point currently.
@somnambulance don't worry about getting the point and just enjoy it. I don't really get the point either and there is some kind of story in there I think but I'm just having a right old blast raiding with my mates,collecting blue prints and killing the rats when the little horrors rear their heads above the tarp. Awesome game and it's great a relatively small team is giving it large to E.A.

@Northern_munkey I think I just haven’t had the time to be social with the game to get me up to speed. Maybe once I get more time to do that, I’ll be up to speed

My December purchase was Dispatch which thrilled me as an old Telltale fan (tips hat to The Walking Dead) and as a superhero fan.
The PvP aspect takes it off the board for me but I’ve heard nothing but good about Arc Raiders and am glad it is continuing to succeed.
@somnambulance it's a shame it only let's you have 3 raiders max. I have 2 guys that I raid with on a regular basis and there's a few on here that are now on my friends list with the purpose of joining up for some mayhem but it's tough as it's pretty much first come first raid..such an awesome co-op game and equally as great as the epic helldivers 2.
And deservedly so!!
