Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has some redeeming qualities, but its campaign is really dominating the conversation, with many players left baffled by it.
Now, about a week after launch, developer Treyarch has announced a change that may come as welcome news to those looking to get to the good stuff.
In a post on official Call of Duty socials, the team says that, starting tomorrow, 21st November, you will no longer need to complete Black Ops 7's campaign to unlock Endgame mode; it'll be available to everyone from the start.

Endgame is a new 32-player PvE mode in which you have to complete varied objectives all across the large Avalon map before making your escape.
This has been well received by players, with Treyarch stating it's seen "an awesome response" to the mode.
Initially, you had to finish the campaign before you could play Endgame, but it'll soon be readily available to all, meaning you don't have to play the story if you don't want to.
Having said that, those who have already completed the campaign will be rewarded some additional in-game items:
- 3x 1-Hour Double Level XP Tokens
- 3x 1-Hour Double Weapon XP Tokens
- 3x 1-Hour Double Battle Pass XP Tokens
- 3x Perkaholic GobbleGum
With so many negative reactions to the campaign, we imagine this will be welcome news to many, who'd rather enjoy the better parts of the game.
