Milano’s Odd Job Collection is a classic PS1 minigame compilation which first released in Japan all the way back in 1997, and never received an English translation. Until now!
Emulation specialists Implicit Conversions – the same team behind the retro titles included with PS Plus Premium – has teamed up with XSEED to release this title worldwide for the first time later this year, on PS5 and PS4.
“School’s out, but 11-year-old Milano’s mom needs to go to the hospital and Milano is sent to spend the summer with her uncle. There’s one small problem – her her uncle is away on vacation! Left on her own, Milano decides to make the most of her situation by taking up a variety of part-time jobs in town,” the blurb reads.

“Over the next 40 days, Milano goes all in – delivering pizzas, nursing sick patients, milking flying cows, and more – to make this summer unforgettable. And maybe she can spruce up her uncle’s place and have some fun while she’s at it.”
With a madcap concept and a cutesy 90s artstyle, this is the type of experience that thrived during the PS1 era. And now you’ll be able to experience it for yourself, with a full English language translation on Sony’s contemporary consoles.

When I read "legendary minigame compilation" I was thinking Bishi Bashi Special is making a return. Maybe one day.
@Czar_Khastik Dont rule it out!!!
I only found out about this game a few weeks ago, and now it's getting localised. Funny coincidence, that.
Sweet! I always appreciate localizations and releases of previously JP-only games like these, keep it coming.
The PS1 era just oozed creativity, specially in Japan.
@arsmolinarc Totally, Sony need to get back into that way of things, stuff like Humanity kinda hint at that.
@get2sammyb I'm having my fingers crossed for years! Even today I spin it up with my buddies on a small sony trinitron just to see who is the fastest in Mechanical Pencil Basher. After a couple of pints we're rollin' on the floor with laughter. What a game!
Ohhh I am in. Totally my thing.
