Phantom Blade Zero Release Date PS5

Phantom Blade Zero could finally be blessed with a release date within the next 30 hours or so.

Eager PlayStation fans are suddenly wondering about what could be shown during this week's State of Play, which was announced earlier today.

Naturally, we've found ourselves pondering potential reveals as well — and then we remembered that Phantom Blade Zero developer S-GAME previously stated that a launch date would be confirmed before the year is out.

This State of Play seems like the perfect place for such an announcement, then. If you haven't already seen the news, the broadcast is going to be Japan and Asia-centric, focusing on PlayStation's Eastern audience.

PlayStation has already put a lot of resources into marketing Phantom Blade Zero, especially in Asian territories, where it's been a consistent headline act at various gaming shows and events.

To us, this feels like a lock — but there's still plenty of time for S-GAME to make a social media post that completely shuts our theory down. Fingers crossed the Chinese outfit maintains its silence!

For what it's worth, we can see quite a few Chinese and Korean-led titles being showcased during this imminent State of Play.

Again, Sony's investing quite heavily in lesser-known talent from these countries, and so giving them an official platform with global reach makes total sense.
