Lies of P publisher Neowiz looks to be on the rise off the back of the Soulslike's success, with the company announcing it has five projects in development internally, and then it's collaborating with another two external studios to publish the games they're making.
The firm's plans were confirmed in an investor presentation for November 2025, with a slide covering its "new pipeline" revealing all. First and foremost, it has a sequel to Lies of P in development. If you've beaten the game, you might have a good idea of what the follow-up could entail.
It's also got a "life simulation" game, a "survival action adventure" title, and two new projects from Seungho Jin and Kay Lee in the works.
Seungho Jin's previous work includes Buried Stars for PS4, while Kay Lee was part of the Vindictus development team, a South Korean MMO.
On top of what it's working on in-house, Neowiz is also partnering with two external developers to publish their games. It'll help launch a "retro SF first-person RPG" from Wolfeye Studios, which previously made Weird West. It's also working with Polish developer Zakazane Studio on its first project.

Backing up comments made by former PlayStation boss Shu Yoshida in relation to Stellar Blade and its impact on the Korean games industry, Lies of P can also be credited with the boom in interest. The successful Soulslike has allowed Neowiz to expand and take on further projects, as evidenced by the five it now has in production.

Seeing as the crowd here is adamantly against publishers focusing on live service, i’m guessing Neowiz will get the same treatment like Sony got? 😉
Really enjoyed Lies of P. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the sequel...
Just remember Neowiz, quality > qunaity
Which game are they bringing to console that is a Live Service game, @LogicStrikesAgain. I cannot identify it on the list...
@Fiendish-Beaver Is that the issue people had with Sony though? Are you saying they wouldnt mind if it were only PC?
I got the impression people just hated live service games over here based on their comments. Even though most seem to like Gran Turismo 7 and Helldivers 2.
Edit: Thinking about it, you do have a good point though. At least Neowiz doesnt seem to bring their games to console yet, so the people over here might not have the same complaints. Fair enough
Lies of P was fantastic. Still got the DLC on backlog to get to whenever. But I'll be ready for a sequel whenever it drops. Still prob years off though. Prob gonna be a cross gen title or maybe native ps6
Give me Shoes of D as soon as possible.
That was kind of what I was getting at, @LogicStrikesAgain. I don't think people who play on a PlayStation can complain about not wanting a title that they are not getting! 😂
On the other hand, they can complain about missing out, I guess, or that the developer is making a game they don't want meaning they are not making a game they do.
I guess people will always find a way to be unhappy... 😉
Lies of P was amazing - like others have alluded to though, I hope they keep their eyes on Quality whilst expanding.
Lies of P was a very high quality game that launched in a great state - as soon as I had played the demo (which was also high quality) I pre-ordered, and as a rule I never pre-order anything these days, except Sony 1st party, until technical reviews or sometimes critic reviews are available.
Lies of P was suuuuch a great game. Can’t wait for the sequel!
@StitchJones
The DLC was in my opinion even better than the main game - and a decent chunk of content.
I found 2 new weapons (Claws and Bow) that I liked so much that I replayed through a NG+ cycle (inc dlc again).
@Fiendish-Beaver Haha, thats true! Some people will always have something to complain about i guess. Fair points all around 👍🏼
@Rich33 sounds great. I bought the DLC already, just shelving it for now. So much to get to. But I think Lies and Lords of the fallen are hands down the 2 best soulslikes not made by fromsoft. Can't wait for Lords of the fallen 2. The first one was very rough at launch, but they pulled a cyberpunk and really turned it into an awesome game after patches
Glad to see Wolfeye Studio (Raphael Colantonio et al.) is getting another shot after their debut Weird West. That didn't quite hit for me, but there were enough ideas and promise that I'm interested in what they cook up next.
I quite liked Lies of P.
Also nice to see a mention of Buried Stars here - a game I haven't finished yet but have been playing and I like it!
For anyone who finished Lies Of P. That sequel is going to be something...
