The chances Sony ever makes another PSVR2 game are so slim that it's not even worth considering at this point, so it's been left to third parties to support the device.
One of them is Flat2VR Studios, which announced four PSVR2 titles for release this month, and a fifth in 2026, as part of its digital showcase. You can view the confirmed games below, with a trailer and description, but PR manager Wes Dillon sees these reveals as a way of celebrating VR players on PS5.
"Your passion and support continue to inspire us, and we’re excited to keep bringing new experiences to PS VR2," Dillon said.
VRacer Hoverbike - Out Now
Start your engines PS VR2 gamers, VRacer Hoverbike is here. A native arcade racer built for VR, it captures the pure sensation of speed inside a headset. Every turn is controlled by leaning your body, matching the movement of your bike on screen, so the rush feels intuitive and physical without any motion sickness.
Audio Trip - 11th November 2025
Revealed today for the very first time on PS VR2, Audio Trip turns your play space into your own personal dance floor. Every move is handcrafted by a professional choreographer, so when you catch gems, glide along ribbons, or smash drums, it all flows perfectly with the music. Nothing is randomized or auto-generated. It feels like you’re dancing inside the song.
Roboquest VR - 20th November 2025
One of the biggest VR shooters of the year is finally locked in. Roboquest VR arrives on PS VR2 this November 20, bringing its fast-paced roguelite action to the headset in full force. Step into the role of a Guardian and tear through swarms of enemy machines in a scorched future world built for chaos and experimentation.
Shadowgate VR: The Mines of Mythrok - 25th November 2025
Shadowgate VR: The Mines of Mythrok takes players deep into a lost dwarven kingdom, armed with a wand and shield to master elemental magic, solve ancient puzzles, and face towering guardians. Guided by Odin, your sharp-tongued raven companion, you’ll ride breakneck minecarts, outwit deadly traps, and uncover secrets hidden far beneath the stone.
Rager - 2026

Today’s show also brought a brand-new reveal for PS VR2: Rager. This is a far cry from your typical rhythm game. Instead of chasing notes, you’ll clash with robotic foes in short, high-intensity duels, face cinematic boss encounters, and fight your way up the online leaderboards. Every battle is designed to be replayed, fast and furious.

Flat2VR, keeping the VR dream alive. Roboquest VR is something I'm really looking forward to.
Shadowgate VR has my attention. Could be fun.
Really looking forward to their Flatout VR, hope it’s not too far away.
There’s been quite some third party support for PSVR2 lately. Not first party, mind you, but still nice to see 👍🏼
I'm still planning on getting a vr2 headset soon mainly for GT7 but these games look pretty damn cool too. It's a shame that EA wrc and dirt 2.0 don't support the psvr2 but at least dirt rally does so even though it looks rougher than Katie price at least I'll give it a going over...dirt rally not Katie price 👍
There’s been some incredible games released for PSVR2 this year, it’s a shame a lot of the major news site (pushsquare included) really seem to have it in for the headset, you rarely read anything positive (even this article headline reads as a negative, despite the fact it’s 5 games being announced), and yet fail to cover games that are highly praised when released, such as Arken Age, Legendary Tales, Into the Radius etc…
As I’ve said before, I get that VR is a niche and will never be for everyone, just a shame the places that could be pushing it don’t even want to seem to give it a fighting chance.
Still… I’m still loving my time with the headset, and always good to see a bit of love in comments on the rare occasion it gets it chance to be in the spotlight 😄
@Northern_munkey just to confirm... you're saying I can play dirt rally 2.0 with my PSVR2 on PS5?! or do you mean the OG dirt rally on PSVR?
@spazuluwarrior the original dirt rally. That has psvr support on the ps4. Sadly dirt rally 2.0 only has vr support on the pc...boo..hiss..
@spazuluwarrior I just double checked and it does indeed work on the ps5. You need to purchase the VR dlc which is still available in the UK but if you live in the USA its no longer available for some strange reason. However if you purchased the game on physical that had the VR content included it's still playable as its on the disc. I bought mine of ebay a few months back really cheap.
I've been waiting FOREVER for Roboquest VR
The most damning point about Sony's attitude is that they can't even be arsed to pay some small external developer to port over some of the PSVR library. I get the point that Astro would be tough to port due to the DualShock implementation but a 120hz Wipeout or Blood and Truth surely isn't too much trouble.
@Northern_munkey Honestly I preferred Dirt Rally 1 to 2, even though I played 2 on a powerful PC with wheel/pedals. The first game had that fun hillclimb mode with the crazy cars, while 2 has nothing of the sort. The rallycross in 2 was also incredibly difficult, because the opponents kept pushing me off the road every time, while I didn't have too much trouble with that in the first game.
@Perturbator yes the pikes peak challenge was the sole reason for me purchasing dirt rally. Insanely difficult but so much fun with a racing rig..awesome.
Good on em. Sony need a headshake.
PSVR2 will go down in history as one of Sonys biggest fan betrayal bait-and-switches of all time. Its clear they utterly hated the thing from day 1. I love my VR2 and would give anything for them to support it in any way.
@NieR_Dark Sadly, everything you said is true. But there are so many generation-defining VR experiences on it. Anyone that skips VR is missing one of the most special experiences you can have while gaming. Just to name a few, the VR2 has:
Resident Evil 4 remake
Resident Evil 8
No Man's Sky
Moss 1 + 2
Call of the Mountain
GT7
Puzzling Places
Demeo
...and at least a dozen smaller games that are must-buys. If they just ported Astro Bot Rescue Mission and Rush of Blood I'd be a lot happier...
@Northern_munkey To me, PSVR2 is worth it for GT7 alone. I have hundreds of hours in this game and I'm still far from exhausting its gigantic content.
@invictus4000 I get the frustration, but the criticism isn't totally fair on Sony. Look, VR hasn't caught on as Sony would have hoped. They've made massive investments to bring this platform to market and it just hasn't panned out.
At this point, Sony could have killed PSVR2 completely but clearly they haven't. Call of The Mountain is far from the only game or VR port Sony funded. They definitely funded the amazing RE ports and a lot of work has been done to bring GT7 to VR. Polyphony has even recently extended the support to take advantage of the PS5 Pro.
Looking ahead, Flight Simulator VR is a very big deal and Sony has definitely something to do with it coming to PSVR2. I'd even go as far as saying that Sony makes these investments with little hope to make its money back. It sees PSVR2 as an accessory that adds value to the ecosystem, but doesn't make enough money directly to justify its existence. Because it doesn't, and it's not Sony's fault in my opinion. VR has a looong way to go until it has any chance to actually get into the mainstream. Mark these words: comfort and convenience. It'll take from years to decades, unfortunately.
I say this with a heavy heart as a VR enthusiast. But one has got to be realistic. BTW, regarding your list of games: you forgot Tetris! 😉
@Art_Vandelay I see your point and I think you're right. The Quest is one more step in the right direction for the convenience side of things but creates more problems on the comfort and quality side. VR is one of the most powerful ways to play games that so many are missing out on but I understand the cost of entry is super high for most. Price, yes, but I find it's even hard to showcase how cool it is to a newcomer, because there's that 1-2 weeks your brain needs to get used to it before motion sickness goes away.
I'll get the psvr3 if there ever is one
@Art_Vandelay yeah GT7 is the main reason for deciding to get the psvr2 hopefully this side of Xmas. As much as I enjoy GT7 I much prefer the rally games as there is an unprecedented feeling of danger and driving on a knifes edge especially with a really good steering wheel that GT7 just lacks. Visually GT7 wins hands down but EA wrc in Greece at night and rain really puts you through the ringer..I actually bit through my bottom lip during an online championship.
@invictus4000 yes unfortunately I spent £530 on this damn thing. And basically Sony couldn't give a ***** !! Let's just say i wont be buying into VR again, especially from Sony. The annoying part is the techs brilliant, let down by mostly mediocre crap. Luckily I sold it on.
@invictus4000 Exactly. One thing that bothers me is how VR enthusiasts behave as if motion sickness wasn't a thing anymore. It totally is and it's a massive roadblock for wider VR adoption. Ignoring motion sickness doesn't help move the industry forward because people won't invest in solving or at least mitigating it further.
@Northern_munkey Got it. Yeah, rally is bit much for me. I prefer the more surgical style of GT. Even the rally adjacent races in GT are more contained.
@invictus4000 Oh, and one more thing since you mentioned Quest: Meta seems to get it, as their upcoming rumored headset will be laser focused on the ergonomics. How the market will react is another story, but it's a step in the right direction if they execute it well.
And honestly, I don't think price is a major factor either. People have no problem paying $1,000+ on tech when it's compelling enough.
@spazuluwarrior I've done a little bit of a deep dive to get more info on dirt rally working on the psvr2..apparently none of the psvr games are compatible with the psvr2 which really sucks big time. I'm sure this is something I should have known really but I've only just recently got interested in the psvr2 for GT7. Sorry for the misinformation bud 👍
@Northern_munkey Totally worth it for GT7. Provided no ill effects... Since it came out I've upgraded my TV and wheel set to all-singing/all-dancing stuff and (even at 530 quid) the VR2 headset is the best thing to enhance the experience. Ironically it was the cheapest too!
Do I wish I could've acquired it for around 200 notes? Well, obviously. Have I had more than enough use of it to justify the price? 100%. If it doesn't show up in sales soon CEX is probably the recommended retailer from me.
I'm happy to see this. Although my VR2 has had enough use to justify it's cost (and way more than my V2 PSVR) it does feel like Sony had given up on the product before it even hit the shelves. But then, I ignored the writing on the wall.
I guess if I myself invested in more games for it I wouldn't be part of the problem....?
@LiamOliver I'm going to buy it brand new. Something like this has to be box fresh for me. I'm not a big fan of 2nd hand tech. Which steering wheel have you got?
@Northern_munkey no worries my man, appreciate the research as it could have still stumbled onto a discovery… ‘tis a shame but I’m sure we’re not too far away from a decent rally game dropping on VR2, first half of 2026 let’s hope…
@Northern_munkey I feel ya, I'm very much the same.
I got the Fanatec GT DD Pro with the uprated power adapter and brake pedal when it released. Bolted onto an (upgraded/modded) PlaySeat it's rather nifty. Although apart from the brake (load cell) and stronger force feedback I don't feel it is streets ahead, especially for the money, my old G29 wasn't that bad and if I knew then what I know now I probably would've modded the pedals and stuck with it.
