Publisher Reef Entertainment has announced another delay for its very promising-looking retro action title, Terminator 2D: No Fate.
The game, developed by Bitmap Bureau, is now due for release on 29th November 2025 — a delay of just under a month from its previous launch date.
The publisher released a short statement, outlining the reasoning behind the delay:
Hi everyone,
We wanted to share an important update on the release of Terminator 2D: NO FATE. The game will now launch on November 26, 2025.
This adjustment is due to ongoing global trade and tariff changes that delayed shipment of the components for our Day One and Collector’s Editions. Because we are committed to launching all editions together, this new date applies to both physical and digital releases worldwide.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’re sorry for this further delay. The team is working hard to make sure your wait is worth it, and we can’t wait to shareTerminator 2D: NO FATE with you all this November.
Sincerely,
Reef Entertainment
Essentially, the game's physical editions have been set back due to delayed shipments of certain items, and as Reef Entertainment wants all versions to launch simultaneously, the physical and digital editions have all been moved to the new November date.
While it's a shame to have to wait a little longer, it should be worth it; the game has always looked impressive in trailers. We're excited to finally get our hands on it in November.
Terminator 2D: No Fate is essentially a retelling of Terminator 2, but as a retro-style side-scrolling action game. With multiple playable characters and an expanded story, fans of the movie should be in for a treat here.
