Now Capcom’s successfully established what makes Pragmata stand out from the slew of other third-person shooters released over the past two decades, it’s beginning to layer new information on top.
This latest trailer from the publisher’s Online Special Program showcases how dual-protagonists Hugh and Diane can use a sanctuary known as the Shelter to craft new equipment and level up their gear.
The trailer focuses on several “chips”, which can be installed into Diane’s hacking module. When you trace a line through them, they’ll unlock bonus benefits, such as defence shredding capabilities and even a multi-hack.

The press release teases an additional little tidbit in relation to the pair’s adventure:
“Outside of combat, Hugh and Diana will explore the lunar station. From the Shelter, they can ride the Tram, which can take them to any Escape Hatches they have previously unlocked. These Escape Hatches also act as valuable checkpoints in their journey to return to Earth.”
So, we’re beginning to now get a glimpse of the game’s overall structure, with everything revolving around the Shelter. It’s going to be exciting to see just how much this game evolves over the course of its campaign, because it feels like we’re still very much scratching the surface here.
