The upcoming PS5 cosy game Starsand Island continues to look crazy cute in this awesome trailer from Gamescom last week.
The trailer showcases the variety of activities you’ll be able to engage with in the game: farming, decorating, minigames, musical performances, and more. It may sound quite similar to other existing titles, but we think the Ghibli aesthetic sets it apart.
One sequence in this trailer we really like is how you’re able to build some slides on your personal yacht, and then actually use them to crash into the sea. It all looks very light hearted and chill.

Here’s what the official blurb says about the game:
“A heart-warming simulation game with rich DIY features, allowing you to freely build your dream home, befriend adorable animals, and enjoy a unique Eastern fairy tale experience.”
There’s still no release date attached to this title, but you can wishlist on the PS Store if you’re interested in it. Hopefully this one will make it out in time for Christmas.
