One of the more unique games to launch on PS5 this year is Promise Mascot Agency, and while it's great in its original form, a massive update makes it even bigger and better.

Launching today, the free game update adds all sorts of new features, challenges, and fixes. Here's a trailer that provides a broad overview:

The update is called Prepare to Grind, and the name is quite literal; one of the headline additions is a new upgrade for the truck, allowing you to grind on barriers and train tracks, Tony Hawk style.

Another major new feature is a series of time trial races dotted around the island. If you beat the medal times, you'll earn some newly added Hero cards for use in mascot battles.

Speaking of Hero cards, there are yet more to collect and purchase from vendors, including collaborations with other indie games like Unbeatable, Sorry We're Closed, and more.

There are also new nails for Pinky to collect, difficulty settings and tougher mascot fights, improved speed on the crane game, various bug fixes, and more — it's a really chunky update.
