It's All Sunshine and Rainbows in ZZZ's Summer Update, Here's the New Redemption Code

Zenless Zone Zero’s slathering on the sunscreen and heading to the Waifei Peninsula’s coastal Fantasy Resort for a spot of fun in the sun this 17th July.

The next update for the gargantuan gacha will include two new playable characters, a slew of beach-themed minigames – including surfing! – and much, much more.

But first, you’re probably going to want to activate the latest redemption code:

• SPOOKSHACK

The new characters revolve around the Spook Shack faction, with tanuki lover Ukinami Yuzuha bringing some S-Rank Physical Support action to the arena.

Here’s how the press release introduces her abilities:

“Ukinami Yuzuha is a shrewd S-Rank Physical Support Agent who deploys her tanuki companion Kama to throw candy bombs at enemies, empowering on-field attackers to accumulate Anomaly Buildup more easily. Her signature Sweet Scare ability adapts to the active agent's attribute via Flavor Match, significantly boosting the Anomaly Buildup efficiency while simultaneously triggering Aftershock attacks.”

Meanwhile, Alice Thymefield is an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent, and the descendant of an esteemed family.

“As a noble heiress, she utilizes her refined swordsmanship techniques to maneuver on the battlefield and accumulate Blade Etiquette. By consuming Blade Etiquette, Alice can unleash powerful strikes, amplifying Assault and Disorder damage.”

In addition to a new main story chapter focusing on the Exaltists, you’ll also find a massive Event which will see you working to improve the reputation of the Fantasy Resort by engaging in various activities and improving the facilities.

Minigames will include surfing, a kind of carnival-like rails shooter, and an upgraded fishing minigame with more casual gameplay options compared to the previous version. You’ll even be able to display any fish you catch in an aquarium.

In addition, you’ll find fresh swimsuit costumes – including free summer outfits for Belle and Wise – as well as a Bangboo-themed auto battler and much, much more.

There’ll even be a ton of quality of life improvements, including the ability to favourite frequently visited locations and even further enhancements to the minimap.
