We've not really seen much of PowerWash Simulator 2 since its announcement earlier in the year, but a new gameplay trailer shows it off very nicely indeed.
The video shows off all sorts of new locations in need of a good hosing down, including an amusement park, a motel, and rock-climbing walls. The trailer's description says some of these jobs are multi-stage, too, so you'll return to some places and continue cleaning.
Also shown are new abilities and tools that'll make certain jobs much easier, like abseiling, a floor scrubber, and a scissor lift to reach higher areas.
We also get a look at the new soap system, which looks vastly improved; soap in the original is practically useless, but it looks like it serves a purpose at last. Then there's the home base, which can be decorated with furniture and items you unlock.
All in all it's looking like a great sequel with plenty of thoughtful new features. We're excited to get our hands dirty clean when it launches in late 2025.

Huh, photorealistic visuals like these do explain the devs lacking confidence for the sequel's Switch ver- oh wait, that was a Yandex Music ad right now.
...and now I'm admittedly struggling to scan the actual trailer for anything I didn't see in PW1 on Switch. Or is it about the water splashes being more splashy now, with a higher RAM consumption price for the privilege?🤔
Until you unlock the triple nozzle we all know the only useful one was yellow.
I pumped around seventy hours into the first game and I can’t wait for the sequel. Easily my most anticipated game outside of the big AAA heavy hitters. It’s such a relaxing and super satisfying game. Just this time, I’m really hoping the Platinum trophy isn’t gated behind ridiculously difficult challenge levels like the first one.
@nhSnork I have no clue what the reality is, but I would guess it has something to do with the particulate system and keeping track of the different layers of dirt. That was already pretty taxing in the original, and I imagine they've made it more detailed in the sequel. Lots of data there that's probably difficult to process and cache optimally.
I guess I won't be seeing much of my wife in 2026.
@The_Pixel_King couldn’t have said it better myself.. day one for me personally.. it’s such a non game (game).. sleeper hit 100%
